SoIBio (Iberoamerican Society for Bioinformatics) is an international scientific society, founded in 2009 following the previous work and experience of the RIB (Iberoamerican Network for Bioinformatics) which was, from 2002 to 2008, a joint collaborative project of several research groups from Iberoamerica working in the new field of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

    Durante la última semana de octubre próximo (del 26 al 31.X.2013) se realizará en la ciudad de ROSARIO (Argentina) el IV Congreso Argentino de Bioinformática y Biología Computacional (AB2C2) en forma conjunta con la IV Conferencia Internacional de la Sociedad Iberoamericana de Bioinformática (SolBio).

    El evento será organizado por el Centro Internacional Franco Argentino de Ciencias de la Información y de Sistemas (CIFASIS) con el apoyo de ambas sociedades científicas profesionales, AB2C2 (http://www.A2B2C.org.ar/) y SolBio (http://www.soibio.org/en). Próximamente se brindará más información.
